Why Item Upgrade Is Your Next Big Obsession

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item upgrader mod of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade items process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item upgrader mod. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item upgrader mod reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can put in an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
upgrade item components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
