Glyphs

When you reach the 50th level the action-RPG of Blizzard changes from its simplified campaign to the endgame. Glyphs play a significant role to this process. Increasing a Glyph's upgrade level increases its stat attributes and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are a handful of ways to acquire these upgrades, however most players will rely on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.

Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can select them from the menu at the left of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs based on the font that your cursor is. You can change the font or style, and narrow the list to only include punctuation symbols by selecting an option beneath the Entire Font. When you move your cursor over a glyph, you can view its CID/GID as well as Unicode value in a tooltip.

Once you've inserted some glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep an eye on the last 35 distinct ones you've used and will make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking, or Control-clicking, a glyph in the list and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.

Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and modify the glyph set you want to use, which is beneficial when you must write certain types of text frequently. This will save you the time of manually inserting each glyph every time you require it.

A custom glyph set may include up to 31 glyphs, including the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z), lowcase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) and underscore (_) and various other glyphs. The suffix may include ligatures, or contextual alternative. These are special versions that combine two or more letters into one glyph.

Reroll Tokens

Leveling an item to its maximum level increases its level by 1.

The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients, and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are provided at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes that can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint has its own icon, and each type of upgradeable item has each with a distinct icon:

Some recipes require the use of specific appliances or ingredients which can be obtained by choosing the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if the franchise card of a particular brand is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in that pool for the remainder of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.

Recycled Items

The third "R," recycle, is where the magic truly occurs. You can help the environment by recycling a product that is made of recycled materials.
