You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. This item can be helpful in the event that your item or weapon is close to or has reached the maximum level of its level.
