Why All The Fuss About Item Upgrade

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item level upgrade will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can put in an item upgrade to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item upgrading has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
