Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Leveling
