10 Item Upgrade-Related Projects To Stretch Your Creativity
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To produce them, you require an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next Success result is repeated. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade items their gear, players must first locate the appropriate item upgrading and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item level upgrade is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
